Manchester United have announced that Will Fish signed a new long-term contract that will see him at Old Trafford until June 2025, with an option for a one-year extension. Fish is the second youngster to sign a new contract after Zidane Iqbal.
This 19-year-old center-back only made his debut for the Red Devils under Solskjaer in the final game of the 2020-21 season against Wolverhampton Wanderers with a 2-1 victory. The defender appeared as a late substitute, replacing former winger Daniel James. He was also on the bench for the England giants’ second-leg quarter-final against Granada in the Europa League. The Manchester-born Mancunian’ strengths include his physical prowess and leadership qualities.
Although he only made two appearances last season, United’s Head of Academy Nick Cox insists they have clearly seen Will’s physic al and mental improvement over the past few months. The move really paid off.

The club stated that everyone at Manchester United is looking forwards to seeing the 19-year-old prospect contine his development at the club in the coming months and years.
